I'm bubbling over ...

If you can try to imagine ... it's been one year since Larry has lived at home. Many say to me, "oh, what a welcome relief to have a year to myself." Be careful what you wish for ...

A year in our life has passed quickly but many special moments we have been unable to share. Our sons have had events that they so badly wanted their dad to be at. So many times they just wanted his advice but had to wait a couple days for emails to be communicated.

Thankfully that year is almost up. Larry called again this morning. Thank God for email and cell phones. He actually has been calling from his AT&T cell phone at only $2.50/minute. That is amazing ... he couldn't be further away. He sounds so good and says he is so excited to be headed home that he really doesn't feel tired after the travel of the last few days.

He'll be headed out of Kuwait on Saturday, Apr 5 arriving at Ft. Benning, GA some 26-30 hours later. WOW! That's a very long journey. As I have more detail I will pass it along. Please continue to pray for weather, flights, safety, and mostly his physical stamina through it all.

Until later ...
